I know what you did last winter....

Naja, also in den letzten Tagen wurde ich wieder mal gefragt, was ich denn so in den letzten Monaten gemacht habe. Ihr wisst ja, dass ich mich gerne mit Photoshop beschäftige und dass ich auch gerne mehr über Bildbearbeitung lerne.  Wenn ich Zeit hatte, habe ich mich immer gerne mit meinen älteren Bildern herumgespielt. Das Übliche halt: Schwarzweiß-, Unschärfe und andere Effekte und so. Meine „Kunstwerke“ könnt ihr  weiter unten betrachten.
 In diesem Zusammenhang hat mich dann ein guter Freund auf DeviantArt aufmerksam gemacht. Denn dort gibt es eine Menge guter digitaler Künstler und auch gute Anleitungen. Und zu dem auch andere Frauen, die ihre Füße zeigen….

Ok. People have asked what I have did in the last past months. Well you might know that I like to photoshop and to learn more about digital photography. So also during my break, I liked to play around with my old pictures, using black and white and other effects and so on.  You can see those “artworks” below.
In this context a friend of mine pointed out to me that I should try Deviant Art, because there are a lot of digital artists, tutorials and also girls who show their feet too…

Als erstes dachte ich: „Oh nee, nicht schon wieder eine neue Seite, die ich regelmäßig checken muss. Ich mag ja normalerweise diesen ganzen Community-Krims-Krams nicht. Aber ich war dann doch überrascht und ich muss sagen, DA gefällt mir ganz gut. Von der technischen Seite her betrachtet finde ich es besser als Flickr, da man seine Bilder auch ohne Premiumstatus in voller Größe zeigen kann. Auch gibt es sonst weniger Beschränkungen. Zudem gibt es dort auch wirklich ausgezeichnete Künstler und Fotografen. Ich habe wirklich schon sehr viel Zeit allein mit Bilder anschauen dort verloren. Es ist halt nicht so massen- und mainstreammäßig. Bei Flickr aber ich immer ewig gebraucht, um mal wirklich gute Fotografen zu entdecken, die dich dann aber meistens im Gegenzug ihre Bilder nur in winzigen Auflösungen sehen lassen.

Nein das sollte jetzt keine Werbung für DA sein. Wie gesagt, ich wollte nur erzählen, was ich so gemacht habe. Falls jetzt aber jemand denkt „Ich mache mir jetzt auch einen DA-Account, aber nur deswegen, damit ich mit Karina den ganzen Tag chatten kann“….stop, stop, stop, dass ist keine gute Idee. Wie gesagt, ich bin dort nicht, um noch mehr Mails zu bekommen.  Es freut mich zwar sehr und ehrt mich auch, aber ich kann nicht nun mal die beste Freundin von jedem hier sein. Selbst wenn der Tag  50 Stunden hätte, wäre das nicht genug Zeit, um sich mit jedem persönlich zu unterhalten. Ich hoffe ihr versteht das.


Andererseits bin ich auch nicht aus reinem Selbstzweck bei DeviantArt. Ich versuche gerade einige Kontakte zu knüpfen und führe gerade ein paar ernsthafte Gespräche mit Leuten, die eventuell etwas zu meinem Blog beitragen werden. Versprechen möchte ich allerdings a dieser Stelle noch nichts….

 First I thought „oh no, not another site to check”. And you may know that I do not like all these social community things. But after a while I have to say it is very nice there.  Technically it is in my opinion better than Flickr. Everyone can see your pictures in full size. On Flickr you need a premium membership. And there are less restrictions.  I also have to say that there I have seen more quality pictures, artworks or paintings than on Flickr. It is not such a mainstream mass product thing. I have to admit that I have spent a lot of hours watching pictures there. And I was totally lost because of all these amazing pictures. There are really great photographers. On Flickr I often have spent hours to find the real good photographers (who then let you see their works only  in small resolutions).

This should not sound like an advertisement. I just want to tell you what I did in the past months. But I you now think “oh, I join DeviantArt only because there is Karina, and I can chat with her the whole day”, that would be a bad idea. I am not at DA to read more mails. I cannot be the closest personal friend with everyone who likes my feet. I know that so many people want to talk to me individually (and hey, I feel very honored that you think so much of me), but I am really sorry, I am not able to do that, even a day would have 50 hours. 

And I did not only join DA for fun or just to show my feet there. At the moment I am also in some talking with people, who might be able to contribute something to my blog…, but at the moment I will not promise anything.
